          WHAT ARE THE BASIC PROPERTIES OF ELECTROMAGNETIC WIRE PLASTICS?

              1. Cold tolerance

              At low temperature, the ability of electromagnetic wire plastics to maintain certain physical and mechanical properties is called the cold resistance of plastics. It is usually expressed by the following cold resistant temperature.


              1) Low temperature embrittlement temperature: that is, the temperature at which 50% of the samples are damaged under a specific impact load at low temperature.


              2) Low temperature folding temperature: that is, the temperature at which the plastic sample will break but not break when bending for 180o.


              3) Low temperature impact compression temperature: refers to the temperature when the        plastic sample is impacted and compressed with a certain energy and speed by a hammer at low temperature, so that the fracture rate reaches 50%.


              2. Fire resistance

              Fire resistance refers to the ability of plastics to resist fire. Generally, the plastic will burn after contacting with the flame. After removing the flame, the situation of delayed burning varies with the variety of plastic, so the fire resistance is also different.


              3. Heat aging resistance

              In the process of processing and using plastics, the properties of plastics become worse because of the heat, which is called thermal aging. The ability of plastics to resist thermal aging is called thermal aging. Accelerated thermal aging test is carried out at high temperature to measure the retention rate of plastic properties (mechanical or electrical properties) after aging to measure the thermal aging resistance of plastic.


              4. Weather resistance

              When plastic is used under atmospheric conditions, it is affected by severe natural conditions such as sunlight, rain, wind, air pollution and so on. The deterioration of plastic performance is called atmospheric aging. The ability of plastics to resist atmospheric aging is called the weather resistance of plastics.
